European Hotel Capital (EUHC) announced that Rogier Hurkmans has been appointed Director.

With over 30 years of international experience in hotel management and consultancy, Hurkmans has worked across luxury and midscale hotels. He excels in complex projects, including hotel asset management, development, pre-opening, turnarounds, rebranding, and renovations.

A competitive, internationally mobile executive with a bachelor’s degree in hotel business administration, Hurkmans has worked with top brands such as Marriott, IHG, Hilton, Wyndham, Steigenberger, Swissôtel, and NH Hotel Group. He has also held executive positions for hotel owners like Pandox and the global hospitality company Aimbridge. Additionally, Hurkmans has served for many years as an external assessor for hospitality management programs at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences and Hotel Management School Maastricht.In his new role, Hurkmans will help deepen the operational and strategic services that EUHC provides to its rapidly growing group of clients. EUHC currently manages over 10 hotels, including the LBG Hotels portfolio, Motto by Hilton Rotterdam, City Hotel Gouda and the new Mama Shelter in Amsterdam (opening in Q1 2027).
